Paradise Community Farm

Paradise Community Farm, Inc. (PCF) is a community focused on creating sustainable living. To inspire unity and honor diversity, our mission is to respect the individual while working together toward a common goal.

Approximately twenty minutes from Santa Barbara and mostly surrounded by National Forest, the land is two hundred twenty-seven acres accessible by four wheel drive. PCF is established as a California corporation for a simple way of sharing ownership among several households.

We have begun to lay out eco-sensitive infrastructure including examples of rain catchment, solar energy, super adobe, and recycled building methods.

Our farm will establish agricultural systems that are self-supporting. Our permaculture method of farming blends organic gardening and orcharding, native species propagation, and wholistic living practices.

As a part of our sustainable living practice we intend to conduct workshops to share our group knowledge and skills. Areas of interest include yoga, health, sustainable building, and many aspects of community building/living.

Ultimately, the evolution of the community is dependent upon the goals and perseverance of its members.

All major decisions that affect the land are made by consensus.

Our intention is to live harmoniously with our environment while benefiting our greater community.
